Vivo has quietly expanded its Y600 smartphone lineup with the launch of the new Y600k Turbo, a device that closely follows the specifications of the existing Y600 Turbo while introducing another option for users looking for a powerful mid-range phone.
The new smartphone has been listed in a single memory configuration featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. One of its biggest highlights is its large-capacity battery, combined with a high-refresh-rate AMOLED screen and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor.
Display and Design
The Vivo Y600k Turbo comes with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display designed to deliver smooth visuals and vibrant colors. The screen has a resolution of 2800 × 1260 pixels and supports a 120Hz refresh rate.
The high refresh rate should make everyday navigation, scrolling and supported gaming noticeably smoother compared with conventional 60Hz panels.
Vivo has also equipped the display with a 130Hz touch sampling rate, allowing the screen to respond quickly to touch input. The panel can reproduce 10.7 billion colors, giving the phone a wide range of color reproduction for videos, photos and other multimedia content.
Another notable feature is 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, which is designed to provide more comfortable screen brightness control in certain low-light conditions.
Vivo claims the display can achieve a local peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits, although actual brightness can vary depending on the display area and usage conditions.
The Y600k Turbo will be offered in three color options: Electric Blue, Dune Gold and Millennial Pink. The different finishes give buyers a choice between brighter and more understated styling.
Durability and Protection
The phone is also built with durability in mind. Vivo has given the Y600k Turbo IP68 and IP69 ratings for protection against dust and water.
The company says the device uses strengthened glass and has undergone eight military-standard environmental tests. These tests are intended to demonstrate the phone’s ability to withstand different challenging environmental conditions.
The combination of reinforced construction and high-level ingress protection makes the Y600k Turbo more suitable for users who want additional durability from a daily-use smartphone.
Performance and Hardware
Under the hood, the Vivo Y600k Turbo is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. The processor is positioned to provide a balance between performance and efficiency for everyday applications, multimedia use and mobile gaming.
Vivo is offering the device with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, giving users a substantial amount of memory for multitasking and enough internal space for applications, photos, videos and other files.
The large battery is another major attraction of the new Y600-series smartphone, although the available listing does not provide all details about its charging capabilities.
With a high-refresh-rate AMOLED panel, Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, generous memory and a large battery, the Y600k Turbo is positioned as a feature-rich option in Vivo’s Y-series portfolio.
