Google has launched a new opt-in feature for its Gemini assistant called Personal Intelligence, designed to provide more personalized assistance by leveraging a user’s personal data across multiple Google services.
Once enabled, Personal Intelligence allows Gemini to securely access information from apps such as Gmail, YouTube, Google Search, and Google Photos. By drawing on this data, the assistant can offer tailored responses, reminders, and suggestions based on a user’s personal content and preferences.
Users have full control over which apps Gemini can access. Connections can be managed via the Gemini app or website by navigating to Settings > Personal Intelligence, where individuals can choose which Google services to link.
This new feature reflects Google’s focus on combining AI capabilities with personalized data to enhance user experience. By integrating multiple services, Gemini can offer context-aware recommendations, streamline tasks, and provide more relevant assistance, all while giving users the ability to control their data.
Personal Intelligence is part of Google’s ongoing effort to expand the functionality of its AI assistants, making them more useful in daily life without compromising user privacy.
