Vivo has expanded its V70 Lite smartphone lineup with the launch of the new V70 Lite 4G in several Eurasian markets. The new model follows the V70 Lite 5G, which was introduced in June, but takes a different approach by focusing on battery capacity and affordability.
The Vivo V70 Lite 4G replaces 5G connectivity with a Unisoc chipset while offering a significantly larger 8,100mAh battery. The combination could make the device an attractive option for users who prioritize battery life over next-generation mobile connectivity.
Vivo has not officially announced the price of the V70 Lite 4G yet. However, 4G versions of smartphones are generally positioned below their 5G counterparts, suggesting that the new model could be the more affordable option within the V70 Lite family.
The phone features a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1260 × 2800 pixels. The screen also supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, which can provide smoother scrolling, animations and overall navigation.
The display is paired with an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, giving users a convenient biometric unlocking option while maintaining the phone’s modern design.
Another notable feature is the device’s IP69 rating. This provides protection against dust as well as high-pressure water, giving the Vivo V70 Lite 4G an added layer of durability for everyday use.
The smartphone is being offered in Blue and White color options, giving buyers a choice between two simple finishes.
The biggest highlight of the new model remains its battery. With an 8,100mAh capacity, the Vivo V70 Lite 4G offers considerably more battery capacity than many conventional smartphones.
The larger battery could appeal to users who spend long hours watching videos, browsing social media, playing games or using mobile applications. It may also reduce the need for frequent charging during busy days.
The decision to use a Unisoc chipset and 4G connectivity suggests that Vivo is targeting consumers who want a feature-rich smartphone without paying the premium associated with 5G hardware.
The V70 Lite 4G therefore takes a slightly different position from the 5G version. Instead of focusing on faster cellular connectivity, the new variant emphasizes battery endurance, a large AMOLED screen and durability.
Vivo’s expansion of the V70 Lite series also reflects the continued demand for different smartphone configurations in international markets. Offering both 4G and 5G variants allows manufacturers to target consumers with different budgets and connectivity requirements.
The official pricing and availability of the Vivo V70 Lite 4G in additional markets have yet to be confirmed. More details are expected as Vivo expands the device’s distribution.
