Jazz has officially enabled 5G support for compatible iPhones in Pakistan, allowing users to experience next-generation mobile connectivity in areas where the network is currently active.
Customers using supported Apple iPhones updated to the latest iOS version can now connect to Jazz 5G services within available coverage zones as the telecom operator continues its phased rollout across the country.
The development represents another milestone in Pakistan’s evolving digital infrastructure and highlights the growing adoption of advanced connectivity technologies in the local telecom sector.
According to Jazz, nearly 180 pilot 5G sites are already operational across major Pakistani cities. The company plans to gradually expand coverage in line with customer demand, device compatibility, and the overall maturity of Pakistan’s digital ecosystem.
The launch also supports the company’s broader transformation into a digital ServiceCo under the JazzWorld platform. Through its expanding digital ecosystem, Jazz is offering services in fintech, entertainment, gaming, cloud computing, enterprise solutions, healthtech, insurtech, and digital self-care applications.
Commenting on the latest development, Khalid Shehzad said the availability of 5G support on compatible iPhones reflects the rapid evolution of Pakistan’s digital landscape and increasing readiness for next-generation connectivity experiences.
He added that the company remains focused on delivering reliable and future-ready network services that can support richer digital experiences for users across Pakistan.
Following the recent spectrum auction, Jazz further strengthened its network infrastructure by acquiring spectrum holdings across newly introduced bands including 700 MHz, 2300 MHz, 2600 MHz, and 3500 MHz. Industry experts believe this spectrum combination will help improve both network coverage and high-capacity 5G services nationwide.
The company stated that compatible iPhone users can activate 5G by updating their devices to the latest iOS version and enabling 5G settings while located in supported coverage areas.
In addition to Apple devices, Jazz is also expanding compatibility for Android smartphones. Several Samsung Galaxy models have recently received support for the Jazz 5G network as the company works to broaden access to next-generation mobile services.
Pakistan’s telecom industry is increasingly moving toward advanced connectivity solutions as operators continue investing in infrastructure upgrades to meet rising demand for faster internet speeds, improved digital services, and enhanced mobile experiences.
