The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has reported that most fixed broadband operators in Pakistan successfully met regulatory quality standards during the fourth quarter of 2025. The findings suggest that internet services across major cities remain broadly stable.
The Fixed Broadband Quality of Service (QoS) Survey evaluated 50 broadband service providers across 29 cities under the Fixed Broadband QoS Regulations, 2022. The assessment focused on critical performance indicators, including network availability, latency, bandwidth utilization, jitter, and data throughput.
According to the survey, the majority of operators complied with the set benchmarks, demonstrating reliable network performance and service consistency. Such monitoring by the PTA ensures transparency, accountability, and improved broadband experiences for consumers nationwide.
